Meet Team MOSAIC

Meet Michael Noble, DMD

Dr. Noble received his undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering at the University of Missouri Rolla, and then attended the Washington University School of Dental Medicine in St. Louis, MO. To achieve his goal of becoming an Oral Surgeon, Dr. Noble completed a four-year residency at the University of Illinois. Today, Dr. Noble is a board-certified Oral and Maxillofacial surgeon.

Dr. Noble is licensed to practice in Missouri and Illinois, is affiliated with four area hospitals (including Mercy Hospital and St. Luke’s), and has lectured on trauma and reconstructive surgery throughout the region.

Since 1988, Dr. Noble has been in private practice. His extensive experience in reconstructive surgery and his genuine passion for providing patients with the highest quality care compose the foundation of a practice that will exceed expectations.

Meet David Ivey, DMD

Dr. Ivey, a native of Colorado, earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry at Adams State College in Alamosa, Colorado. He then was accepted to the University Of Iowa School Of Dentistry and graduated in 1973.

Following graduation Dr. Ivey practiced general dentistry in the Indian Health Service, a branch of USPHS, on the Fort Peck Indian Reservation in Wolf Point, Montana. In 1975, he entered the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency Program at Washington University – Barnes Hospital in St. Louis.

After completing his four-year residency in 1979, Dr. Ivey joined the staff of Washington University, as an Assistant professor of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. While at the University, he became board Certified and joined the Cranio-Facial Deformity and Cleft Palate teams at Barnes –
St. Louis Children’s Hospital.

In 1981, Dr. Ivey entered into private practice in Champaign and Bloomington, Illinois. He also joined the faculty of the University of Illinois, as a clinical instructor. Six years later, in 1987, Dr. Ivey moved to St. Louis, where he initiated his own Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Practice.

He also serves on the staff and committees of many area hospitals, including St. Luke’s West, Barnes St. Peters and St. Joseph. In addition, Dr. Ivey has published several articles and often provides lectures concerning Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.

Dr. Ivey’s clinical interests focus on Dental Implants, TMJ Disorders and Orthognathic Surgery. His leisure activities include golfing, fitness training, skiing and computer applications.

Dr. Hesterberg

Meet Michael Hesterberg, DMD

Dr. Hesterberg founded the practice in September 1988 after working as an associate in an oral surgery practice in Chicago, IL for one-and-a-half years. He was raised in Waterloo, IL. He attended the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana where he earned a B.S. in Biology in 1978. After spending a year in research at the Washington University School of Medicine, he was accepted into Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine. He graduated with his Doctor of Dental Medicine Degree in 1983. After dental school, Dr. Hesterberg moved to Chicago where he completed a four-year residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Illinois.

Dr. Hesterberg is especially interested in implant reconstructive procedures and has had additional training in this area at Northwestern University in Chicago, IL.

Meet Frederick Gustave, DDS

Dr. Frederick Gustave grew up in the coal fields of northeastern Pennsylvania and after graduating from King’s College in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania and serving in the Marine Corps attended Temple University School of Dentistry. He received his Oral and Maxillofacial surgery training at Washington University, Barnes-Jewish and Mercy Medical Center. After completing his surgical training, he went into private practice in Carbondale, Illinois and recently sold his practice.

Dr. Gustave now brings his many years of experience and expertise to MOSAIC. His goal is to bring the same broad based high level of care to your patients especially in the realm of Oral Implantology. He is board certified by the American Board of Oral Implantology and also served as a Director on the ABOI. In the past he has been an examiner for those dentists wishing to become board certified in oral implantology. He is also a graduate of the Misch Implant Institute.

Outside the surgical suite, Dr. Gustave loves to engage with his large extended family, take  bicycle tours with his wife Rhonda on their huge recumbent tricycle and spend lots of his free time in the kitchen cooking both comfort food and gourmet meals.

 

Meet Dr. Patrick Morris

Dr. Morris received his undergraduate degree in Biology and Chemistry from East Tennessee State University. He went on to the University of Tennessee at Memphis for Dental School, followed by an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery research Fellowship at University of Tennessee at Knoxville. Dr. Morris started an internship in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery as well as another research fellowship at Emory University. He then attended the College of Medicine at the University of Missouri- Kansas City obtaining his Medical degree followed by an internship in General Surgery. He then completed a residency in full-scope Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery with UMKC College of Medicine and affiliated hospitals.

In his free time Dr. Morris enjoys traveling and spending time with his 3 Shar Pei’s.

Dr. Morris is licensed in Missouri, is on the staff of two area hospitals, and has lectured throughout the area.

Carol Noble, RN, BSN

Aesthetic Nurse Specialist

Carol Lynn recently graduated with her Bachelors in Science and Nursing from Maryville University, where she received her award for clinical excellence. Prior to this she spent 5 years working as a medical assistant specializing in family medicine, with a subsequent 5 years in oral surgery. During this time she gained her DAANCE certification giving her the ability to assist in the administration of General Anesthesia. It was during this mentorship with Dr. Michael Noble that she found her interest in aesthetic procedures. As her career continues to move forward, she looks forward to growing her knowledge of skincare and cosmetic enhancements. Outshining her dedication as a student and nurse, has been her commitment to her husband Larry, her two daughters, and the families two German Shepherds.
